Standard Bulk Orders, OEM or ODM: Choosing a Pest Control Product Supply Route

Standard bulk supply, OEM customization and ODM project review are three ways to work with CNPestech. Choose the route according to how closely an existing product matches your requirements. Buyers can enter any route directly, including requesting OEM or ODM review for their first order.

For wholesalers, professional pest control operators (PCOs) and brands, the decision starts with the product requirement: an existing configuration, a branded version, or a structural change that needs development assessment.

Product information reviewed: 17 October 2026.

Which supply route fits your purchase?

Choosing between standard bulk supply, OEM and ODM review
Supply route Choose this when Send for review
Standard bulk order An existing model and its standard configuration meet your purchasing needs. SKU, quantity per model, destination and required packing.
OEM customization An existing model fits, with changes to branding, suitable colors or packaging. Selected model, quantities and the specific customization required.
ODM project review The proposed product needs a change to structure, dimensions or mechanism. Functional brief, drawings or reference dimensions, intended use and volume forecast.

When does a standard bulk order make sense?

Choose standard bulk supply when the existing product configuration suits your operation or product range. A PCO selecting equipment for its technicians may need the standard device and bulk packing. A wholesaler may also choose standard models for a range sold without product customization.

“Standard” describes the configuration; stock availability and the production schedule still need confirmation. The model’s minimum order quantity also applies without a custom logo, color or package. As reviewed on 17 October 2026, the listed MOQ is 1,008 pieces for PT-202GN and 6,000 pieces for PT-103PRO. These are model-specific figures, not a general order threshold for the entire range.

For a proposed mixed order, list each SKU and quantity separately so CNPestech can confirm the applicable MOQ and packing for each model.

When should you request OEM customization?

Choose OEM when an existing product meets the functional requirement and you need it prepared for your brand or sales channel. OEM is a core CNPestech service. Suitable projects may cover a logo, molded color, product label, retail box, manual or export carton, subject to the selected model and approval of the specification.

An OEM inquiry can begin with your first purchase. Identify the base model and distinguish the changes you require from options you would like priced separately. For example, a branded package and a custom body color are separate requests; a packaging request does not establish color availability.

Use the OEM options guide by product type to review model-dependent possibilities. Once the packaging direction is chosen, the private-label packaging guide explains the artwork and packing stages.

When is an ODM discussion appropriate?

Request ODM review when the requirement involves product development rather than applying branding to an existing configuration. CNPestech’s published capabilities include tooling and product configuration support. A proposed change to dimensions, structure or mechanism requires a technical assessment before the project scope can be confirmed.

Describe the function the product must perform, the intended users and operating conditions. Include drawings, reference dimensions or a sample description when available. State the expected purchase quantity and forecast, separating confirmed requirements from open questions. CNPestech can then assess feasibility, tooling implications and the information needed for a quotation. Development work and its terms require a defined, agreed scope.

What should both sides confirm in the quotation?

The buyer should identify the selected route, destination, quantity and required configuration. CNPestech should confirm the model or project scope, applicable MOQ, included components, packing, price basis and schedule in the quotation. Any setup, sampling or tooling work needs its own agreed terms. The RFQ checklist provides the detailed information list.

Frequently asked questions

Must I buy standard products before starting OEM or ODM?

No. Standard supply, OEM and ODM are direct entry routes. Send the requirements for the route your business needs; customization and development are reviewed against that brief.

Does standard bulk supply mean immediate shipment?

No. Availability, packing and the delivery schedule must be confirmed for the selected model and quantity.

Can I omit customization to avoid the model’s MOQ?

No. The applicable standard-model MOQ still applies. Customization may introduce further requirements that need separate confirmation.

What if I do not know which route to request?

Send the closest existing SKU and explain what must change. If no model fits, describe the required function and dimensions for an initial project assessment.

Request a quote for your supply route

Request a standard bulk quote with the SKUs, quantities and destination, or request an OEM or ODM review with your model or project brief. CNPestech will review the requirements and identify what needs confirmation for the quotation.
